the Rob Dyrdek/DC Shoes Foundation Kettering Skate Plaza.

The Kettering Skate Plaza will be officially unveiled to the public on Saturday, June 11, with a ceremony at 11 a.m. The skate plaza, described as the first of its kind in the world, is located in Indian Riffle Park off Stroop Rd. The plaza was the brainchild of the City of Kettering's Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department and the Rob Dyrdek/DC Shoes Skate Plaza Foundation.

Rob Dyrdek Skate Plaza Contest
Vista, CA...Professional skateboarder Rob Dyrdek and long time supporter Red Bull Energy Drink have collaborated to create the Red Bull Hammers vs. Bangers Skate Plaza Contest to be held June 11, 2005 at the Grand Opening Ceremony of the world's first Skate Plaza in Kettering, Ohio. The contest will feature street skateboarding's top pros and ams as they compete on the innovative Skate Plaza course for a prize purse of $50,000.
