Last Thursday was Go Skateboarding Day, and to celebrate Rob Dyrdek, Devine Calloway, and Sean Malto took a break from DC King of L.A. activities to head out to the Skate Plaza in Kettering, Ohio. The day and especially the turnout were amazing with over 2,500 kids turning out to skate the Rob Dyrdek/DC Shoes Skate Plaza. Check out dcshoes.com for some photos!

For the day Dyrdek, Calloway, and Malto joined Steve Berra and Mikey Taylor as Alien Workshop and Active hooked up free hot dogs and DC hosted the $2500 best trick contest, which was amazing. Malto and Devine skated with the kids for four hours (with Malto killing the 12 set and hubbas). Additionally, DC gave out $900 to other skaters a bill for a banger. We even gave some gas cash to a group who made the drive all the way from New York. How's that for dedication Thanks for coming guys!
